If you are flying here from a distance you have two airport choices. You can fly into the San Diego (SAN) airport which is located approximately 35 miles south of Carlsbad, or you can fly into the Carlsbad airport (CLD). The only airline that flies into or out of Carlsbad currently is United Airlines. Flights leave frequently throughout the day to and from Los Angeles International airport (LAX) seven days a week so if you make your flight arrangements on Untied and make a connection in LAX, you’ll be able to fly into Carlsbad directly. The Carlsbad airport is located approximately 4 miles from the West Inn and Suites and taxis and car rentals are both available from there.\
